A brand new delivery service offering food, grocery, drinks, medicine, and more made its grand opening in the fall of 2021 on 'the hill' of Boulder, Colorado. Snag opened originally in Santa Barbara, for UCSB students, and began building the company in October of 2020. Since then, it has spread to the following universities: Miami Ohio, Ohio State University, Kansas State University, and the University of Oklahoma.

Marketing Manager Kat Ballode speaks about the business: "We're a 10 minute instant delivery service and we operate fully sustainably.. We have E-Bikes and E-Scooters for the drivers." Snag prides itself on its sustainability, being the first delivery service to not use cars. The delivery radius spans between one and two miles of the warehouse location, making it accessible to all student housing near CU's campus, and easy to access by bike or scooter. "Its convenience goods, grocery, student life goods, and party solutions," Ballode explains.

Snag is a student operated business. Ballode breaks down the process: "So we have packers, drivers, and warehouse (staff). I'm the marketing manager so i'm not usually on the ground here. Warehouse will come in the morning or during the day when we get drops from our distributors. We'll get it organized in these little red boxes, and then when an order comes through, there's like a packing workflow. Then, you can assign yourself a package, walk around, load up your bag, and pass it off to a driver."
Snag driver Cole Carlson has his bag packed and ready to deliver. Snag provides temperature enclosing bags, to ensure your delivery stays cold.

With Snag being an up-and-coming business, marketing is key. Snag has an Instagram page, a facebook, and a Tik Tok account. Ballode spends her work days coordinating with her interns across the country, some in different time zones. "I'm the head marketing manager, and I have interns that work under me at each location. I'm kind of telling everyone what to do, like say, we need a photo dump this week and we also need a tabling event, and we'll collaborate more," says Ballode. A lot of these interactions happen online, since they have locations across the country.
Co-Store operator Aidan Cohan works in the warehouse each day, helping organize deliveries and outgoing orders.

What makes Snag so revolutionary is its delivery time. Snag reliably gets its goods delivered within 10 minutes, and customers return because of this. Students often dont have cars, and do not have the ability to drive to the grocery store, so Snag is their savior. Snag has almost anything you need, whenever you need it.
